Re: Trust plates on K-28 tenders?

The D&RGW-ALCO drawing show ownership plate, superheater patent plate, and ALCO builder plates on the boiler. The tender frame drawing does not show any plates, but the photos show the a plate on the tender frames. D&RGW records refer to two types of plates...an ownership plate and a trust plate.
The Beam 1923 photo of 478 shows the plate on the tender frame.
