UP's snow fighting efforts over Donner have been a near disaster not to mention that one of the rebuilt rotaries huffed a mainshaft bearing and is out of
commission. I made the suggestion that in light of expense cuts under PSR that the prudent thing to do would be to cease operations over Donner in the Winter
much as the RG did over Cumbres and start running again when the global warming melted the snow.
