Photographing five snowplow-flanger trains since January reminded me of the first one I photographed in May 1973. Ran from Chama to Cumbres with 484, Flanger OK, and 483. 484 and the flanger derailed at Cumbres where the rails had been under deep snow all winter. Ernie Robart and Bill Moyers were next to me and have similar photos.

Couple photos from the February 15th run.

Had to stop a few times to get downed trees off the tracks.
