Here's one – and only one – of two members of the crew of 'The Mad Dash' enjoying their break at what I believe is The Dutch Mill in Antonito, on May 28, 1968. I mistakenly thought it was Road Foreman of Engines Jim Pearce facing the camera, but Earl says no (see next message). Looking back at the 'Break In' thread (see [
ngdiscussion.net]
et seq) it appears that it may be fireman Stanley Smith with his back to us, but now I have no idea who the other fellow is; Ernie's notes didn't mention this single photo he took of the crew in between several that he took of the engines being serviced
