Interesting that the D&S has posted some SP 18 trips in February, hopefully all will go well. I noted that the Trains Mag proposed trip fell through due to limited interest. I am planning on at least one of these, however for the true hard core photographers don't forget the Lerro Photography trips planned for May 1-2. These are higher cost, but are more limited to the number of riders and will likely offer better photo chances. For one thing the light will be out a bit longer 2 1/2 months later than the D&S trips. While snow in early May is very unlikely, the D&S Feb trips will likely have some snow, thus a chance to get both.

With the very limited time SP 18 will be in Colorado we need the make the most of photo opportunities. Once it is gone back west it is unlikely to come back for a long time.
