Woh, thats not what I saw in the late 80s or early 90s when i was there.
In the parking lot there was a bunch of NG box cars sittng around, I was all jazzed thinking there was going to be a train to ride and was bummed it was just an auto collection. I didnt appreciate Bonanza when i was a kid ,i watched alot of it later Lol, so its only in my adulthood that I am thankful i got to see the place.
They took the visitors up the mountain on old fire trucks to eat a bar b q lunch. The dirt road was lined with old farming, mining and blacksmithing equipment etc all on display. I really hope that stuff was not junked.
I will ask my mom if she has the photos handy from that vacation next time i go over, im sure my dad took pictures of them.
