Hamilton Construction, LLC is also a construction company doing both private and public works projects in the Skagway and Haines, Alaska area. The Hamilton family seems to have had a long connection with the Skagway community and the White Pass & Yukon route.

This posting mentions Jeff Hamilton as being the owner of Hamilton Construction, a search today on the internet indicates that he is still running Hamilton Construction. The posting also mentions that he was a nephew of Fred Hamilton who was once Advertising Manager for the Klambach publications. Back in 1976 when I road the White Pass I had the opportunity to meet the assistant manager for the American side of the WP&YR. He said that he was a brother of Fred Hamilton.
