you've missed my point.

I've never seen a restored automobile missing the bonnet and wheels after its restoration. I understand the Vance coaling station was "restored" by the USFS not a museum, group or individuals in their own right.

As for being critical of the efforts of others, well, I like to see the best effort done, not half-hearted, not watered down, not made do. Otherwise leave it alone.

And I have been fortunate to have visited your country many times, each time going to the CRRM and on some trips several times, dropped $ on #318 back in 1982, and on #20 in 2012, dropped cash in the donation box every trip and over the years bought many books from the CRRM. I was a bit late but bought swag and donated to the #315 in 2009 while at Chama, saved my T-shirt buying for my arrival in Chama at the NG giftshop each and every time passing through, rode the C&TS 3 times, DSNG twice, GTL 3 times, got given a cab ride there last visit and afterwards went and bought a ticket to say Thanks.

There were other instances like the Como DSP&P roundhouse restoration dropbox and at the Nevada Northern can't forget Sumpter riding and donating as well.

I won't go into my financial or physical woes since it doesn't concern this board but if I could, I would be back again and do the same again.
