* Several of John's beautiful photos appear in
'NARROW GAUGE . . . then and now' by Tom Gildersleeve & Nils Huxtable, a small but excellent full-color book that SFAIK is still available — Highly Recommended!! Also, more than a dozen years ago John and Tom very generously allowed me to include several of their photos in the 'Help Save #483' screen saver that Roger Hogan produced circa 2005 and which raised over $2,000 – since traded to The Friends – toward the restoration of the locomotive.
