Rockwood Today

The D&S ran two trains to Silverton today with 476 and 480 and a short two car train to Tall Timbers (turned at Cascade). The small yard and short wye tail are requiring a lot of complicated switching moves. The 476 pushed the first three cars to the tail of the wye where they were then pulled to the north end of the train. The diesel pushed the last two cars of the train to the wye, where they were then moved to the south end of the train by 476. Due to a commitment, I could not stay to photograph the second train. The D&S crews are putting in long, hard days.
