Re: RGS #36 Pictures?

Before some people get their panties all in a bunch - be advised that this RGS 36 is NOT going to be a replica of the original, and it was never intended to be.

The gentlemen that are putting their money into this did apparently want the locomotive to closely resemble the first #36, but certain changes compared to the original are being made. These changes are for various reasons, such as availability and differences in materials, modern safety requirements and considerations and availability of appliances. In addition, the owners have some specific requests to be met in its design to allow them to operate in the matter they wish. The obvious one is their choice of fuel.

It's their money and their engine. 99.9% of those that see it won't know the difference - and how often does anyone build a real steam locomotive any more? North America sees what, maybe one brand new steam locomotive about every 5 years?

It will do just fine on the Phraud-o-freights(tm), maybe even a Phraud-o-varnish too?
