499 was traded to the Royal Gorge for 486 in May 1999.

(3) What year did 486 become operational on the D&S.
486 made her first run on the D&S on August 26, 2000.

(4) I realize 493 is now under restoration, but where is 498 today?
498 is at Durango stored in the yard.

(5) Before the recent restoration of 476 when did it go out of service last?

478 last ran in the spring of 2016.

(7) What year was 480 put back in service.

(8) What year was 481 put back in Service. It looked really fresh in 1994, but I think it must have just been a winter clean-up.
481 was the first large K engine to run all the way to Silverton on August 5, 1981.

(9) 482 was obtained in the trade for 497. What year did 482 go back in service. It is viewed on a train in 1994.
Number 482 made its first run on the Durango & Silverton on May 2, 1992.

(10) How many stalls was the Durango Roundhouse when it burned.
The RH was down to three stalls when the D&RGW ran it till 81, but I think it was expanded before it burned.
