You are one step ahead with digital, Mark -
At least they don't have to be scanned!! I spent several days last week scanning more than 400 b&w 35 mm negatives for Ernie Robart, and most of them still need de-spotting and exposure adjustment. Ernie shot about 200 each day on April 23 and on May 28, 1968. Judging by the frame numbers, I'm pretty sure he was loading bulk film into his canisters and then developing the film himself, but you're right – 500 shots in two days IS a bit crazy!
