Dude, smoke-em if ya got em! 759 was my main thought cause it ran in 1970 pulling the very last N&W passenger train(Pocahontas), between Roanoke and Norfolk. The next day Amtrak started and the N&W trains were not going to be part of it. 759 ran down from Hagerstown to Roanoke with a freight, ran to Norfolk, then came back. Not sure but I think it was kept in Bellevue, Ohio or Conneaght, Ohio at that time. It ran back light from Roanoke and we saw it between Columbus and Bellevue, Ohio on the way back. We actually were in Roanoke a week before the last run, which is where we heard about it. We rode the train from Cincinnati-Roanoke in the sleeper cause we knew it would be gone. Anyway N&W went out of the passenger business with a bang, as 759 pulled the train without diesels and was really moving from what I heard.
Send me a PM and which video you want. The vintage steam section would have any N&W related stuff, as well as Eastern Steam category for more modern stuff like 611 and so forth. Also send your mailing address. Good job catching the 759 and providing me with the 4501 info.
