Thanks Mike. Could maybe an engineer make a comment on the way the engine fires with this device? One problem we had using deflectors inside the smokebox was that the drought to keep the fire going was diminished and thus steaming capabilities reduced. Another question is the amount of water that is being used on a typical trip to Silverton. Thanks for the info.
