The Snowdown Balloon Rally was held this morning about 150 yards from my home just across Highway 550 at Hermosa Road. I walked to it. The Durango & Silverton operated the Snowdown Balloon Rally Special Train. The train stopped by the field where the balloons were launching and gave the riders about 40 minutes to see the balloons. I have chased trains all over the world, but not many times could I walk to the chase.
