Farmington Bridges & Water Tank

January 28, 2018 05:47PM
All the discussion about Farmington trestles and bridges and about image resolution led me to take my new Nikon D850 and 200-500mm lens with me today when I went to Farmington for some shopping and lunch (Olive Garden) after church. I shot these photos with the 200-500 as a test and to see how close the lens would get me. Last spring Rich Muth, Ray Loose, and myself tried to get to the Bondad water tank and pump house and the bridge just south of the tank (bridge 465-A. We could not access the ROW due to private land restrictions. I am hopeful to get access this spring as a realtor friend is selling the property and has promised to get me in, For now, this is as about as good as you can do,
