I will look up the tonnage ratings for the T-12s, they often double headed with K-27s on passenger trains on Cerro Hill, Poncha Pass, even on the Crested Butte branch a few times. Following is an example of a T-12 and C-18 together. Photos show the RGS freight last fall with 463 as 455. I think there was 14 cars plus caboose.
