I have not read a lot of the recent posts.
I find it interesting that on the Cumbres turns, that the engines returned coupled with the caboose.
That brings up a couple of questions.
Was this arrangement challenging for breaking? I know that the CATS does not allow trains to descend from Cumbres Pass to Chama without several cars for breaking. A light engine is OK.
Did the engines uncouple to cross the Lobato bridge? If so did they recouple after Lobato or just run to Chama uncoupled from there?
