Bob is not -quite- retired, and, has a couple properties of his own that he works on, as well. He is an absolutely tireless worker. Last year, he drove up for 4 days after the season (from San Diego), just to finish a job he had been working on during the year, that required the radio antenna to be removed and replaced at Cumbres. With a little help, he and a few others had the job done in half a day.
