Here is another picture of No. 8, as she appeared in better days. Built by Baldwin in 1907 (c/n 31826) as a twin of B&SR No. 6 (the two railroads placed a joint order with Baldwin), she was the SR&RL's premier passenger engine for the first decade after the 1908 consolidation.
