Help I.D. Artifacts

Found a few different derailment sites in 2016 along the SVRy system. Need help with ID's. This photo has brake shoes, broken journal box pieces around top and right, but what are the two broken pieces bottom middle with rounded ends, some type of brake part maybe?

These are photos from a second site. Yell out if you recognize anything. I liked the three journal box covers, one nice OEM and two different replacement types built by the local maintenance shop. This site covered maybe 150' in length, multiple cars involved. Hundreds of spikes and broken pieces litter the RoW.



This final shot is from a third site. Very interested in what the piece on the far left is, the sides sloped sides, broken off something. The far right piece is journal box, I think, but what are the two pieces of heavy bar type to the left? I have found many of these, always broken at the hole, as if designed to do so. At first I thought they were more modern joint bar / fish plates, but no way...
