Re: Nice to see the "real" G&Q

Here are a couple of shots that are from the "real G&Q", sort of! They are shots of what may have been the last steam hauled non charter mixto between Rio Bamba and Bucay. Stuart Lovell ran a charter to Equador in September of 1995, using 2-8-0 #53. The charter ended in Rio Bamba and the railroad worked the #53 back to Guayaquil on the regular mixto.
