All: I was perusing the Dorman Pictures in the Ouray Department and wondered about photo RD037-043. Is shows what I presume ars coal bins or pockets. It appears that the coal was shovelled down the "ramps" into the respective bins. So this begs the questions, what were the spacings on the ramps as they appear to be able to have one car spotted at each pair. There seems to be a roof over the whole structure so then is the "off" side open or were there doors of some style/type? Lastly where were these bins located in Ouray? More questions from the Camera Obscura! Paul.
