This subject has come up here before, but if any of you get a chance to tour the ruins at Quincy (Hancock, MI) it is well worth it!

No, the NG power there is nowhere near being steam ready, but the preserved mining equipment, the cog rail ride down to the mine adit, and the mine tour 1/2 mile in are well worth it. There is an amazing amount of history there- rivaling any in Colorado.

I got a chance to go this past weekend, and it was an amazing tour. Hats off to those there doing the work!
