There is a group called "Boulder Valley Railway Historical Society" (not Boulder "County"). Here is their explanation of the difference in the name ...

The Boulder Valley Railway Historical Society was formed in 2011 to assume the assets of the Boulder County Railway Historical Society. In December, 2000 BCRHS obtained the use of this small section of idle RR track from the Union Pacific Rail Road. In 2011 the lease was transferred to BVRHS. The Society's larger purpose is to preserve the existing railroad equipment, acquire and restore additional equipment, and educate the public about the history of railroads.
