A few days after DougvV's Garratt discussion I received this video from my friend john Kirchner. There is no direct connection to Doug's comments but the video is in color and shows Rede Ferrovaria do Noroeste. (RFN) garratts being tested at the Henschel & Sohn factory, transportation to the docks, and loading on a ship for Brazil. These were meter gauge engines originally built for Great western of Brazil, later renamed Rede Ferrovaria do Noroeste. (RFN).
