Last Wednesday (24 September) marked 150 years to the day since Talyllyn Railway Locomotive No.1 'Talyllyn' was completed at the Lowca Works of Fletcher Jennings and Co. in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
To celebrate the ocassion a special train was run with both No.1 and No.2 'Dolgoch'. In the photo below No.1 is standing at Tywyn Wharf station with a train of restored wagons preparing to depart, to be followed by No.2 with a train of the railway's original carriages.
