UTLX tank car paint question

I know that this is an off-the-wall question, but can anyone tell me what kind of paint is used when one of the UTLX or Gramps cars is painted for restoration?

I don't know if a different paint can be used for cosmetic restoration as opposed to in-service use, but I am interested in the paint used for cars while in service.
