Several years ago Jeff Badger of the Georgianatown Loop-de-Loop was working with the folks at St. Pauli Girl Brewery trying to arrange for them to sponsor a rebuild of #9 in exchange for St. Pauli being allowed to use her in ads for their beer:
Another plus was that the St. Pauli Girls would be hired to work as car attendants on the Georgianatown Loop-de-Loop railway on Fathers' Day each year. (But NOT Grandfathers' Day, as the potential for an increase in heart attacks was deemed far too high.) SFAIK, these talks were stalled by one or two members of the Colorado Histörical Society (rumor has it that Georgiana Condi-Google-Eyes was jealous of the attention the girls were getting from the men of the group), but since the renaming of the organization to Hystöria Colorado and a partial house-cleaning of its membership (hopefully lawyers are no longer allowed to serve on its Board of Directors), the negotiations have been quietly re-opened ...
