I'm not so sure about your comment about model companies, James. While I would agree that the MMI green is probably not correct at least with respect to the shade of green it wears, which is close to a Kelly green (I own one... although it's scheduled for a repaint sometime in the future).

Blackstone, on the other hand is extremely careful and fully researches it's paint schemes on all of their models. In fact, they have been careful not to do their version of 463 in the Moffet Tunnel scheme because it would not be correct... the 463 had four pane cab windows instead of the six pane versions that the rest of the K-27's had during this period.
