It seems that Mr. Day posted his concern without first bringing it to my attention. We have in fact moved two railcars in which archival materials are stored. They are now located on new standard gauge storage track that was built last August. These railcar moves are part of a larger plan to relocate a number of railcars and connect much of our track in order to provide changing exhibits of rolling stock and make it easier to move railcars into the roundhouse for maintenance.

The Museum has a professional archivist who will insure that materials that have been cataloged and are in railcar storage will be available to researchers.

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding that Mr. Day may have created.
