Doing all kinds of 3d but not currently for the K-36, need to get back to that. Was last seen beating my 3d head against the cylinder casting, would probably go faster and cleaner just starting over once I get back to it. I am working on a fairly comprehensive K-36 drawing and brake and spring rigging are next up. 3d would be a nice descriptive compliment to standard sections and elevations for many details. Any new K-36 3d I do I'll be sure to post. The footplate renders below are actually for a K-37 (had it 3d printed in On3 for a non-operating K-37 project), but about the only difference from a K-36 footplate are the holes for the pilot beam. Lots of strange geometry to figure out, same with the rear footplate (footplates, plural, the 36 and 37 are different).
Too much narrow gauge, not enough time... It might not be a bad idea to actually finish some of these projects I keep starting...
