I took some photos of the locomotive and crew after the last run of the D&RGW Silverton train. It may take me some time to locate the negatives. If I can find them I would be happy to share them with you. I will contact you if and when I find them. There were a lot of people around the locomotive and crew that afternoon. As you may know that was during the time when a railfan could walk around the yards without an escort. When the run was over, the locomotive was positioned with the fairly bright afternoon light shining on the engineer's side. The crew and others (D&RGW people?) stood on the ground below the cab. It was a sad day because we realized the D&RGW was no longer operating the line, and most people felt uncertain about the future of the line under new ownership. The rest is history as they say.
