The narrow gauge hauled hardly any drill pipe. Drill pipe is usually 4 1/2 inch 16.6 pounds per foot without tool joints. Drill pipe is about 30-32 feet long.
The vast majority of the pipe hauled was line pipe for gas transmision, casing to line the drilled holesand production tubing.
Casing was 4 1/2", 5 1/2", 7". 8 5/8" with collars on one end threads on the other.
Line pipe was 4" and up and did not have connections since most of it was welded. Some of this was as big as 30" in diameter.
Production tubing was 2 3/8. 2 7/8 and 3 1/2" It was upset on both ends (belled) had a collar on one end and threads on the other.
