And found the article on Will Woodard's super-power engines especially interesting,
as it reminded me of when I was about half as old as I am now, and traveling as a
volunteer engine wiper and hostler with the American Freedom Train.
Here's ex-T&P #610 - SFAIK the only living example of Woodard's original four-wheel trailing truck design -
blasting out of Bellville, Texas, on an overcast February morning in 1976:
