GREAT Photos, Brian -
Well worth waiting for - and on the one-month anniversary, too! Thanks for posting them!!
Can I get a medium- or hi-res copy of #7424? I got a fairly good shot of #489 blowing for the Trolliessen Crossing, but your shot of the train crossing over the well-disguised former Hole of the Troll
* is WAY better than mine!

* Per a docent on the westbound train on 05/23/10, it has recently come to light that the previous oak-paneled, beam-ceilinged home of The JéBêWèx at m.p. 287.50 was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright during the system-wide upgrade of the D&RGW in the mid-1920's. The deep depression of the early 1930's put an end to fundraising for the construction of Trolliessen - a carefully-planned community for tuberculosis patients that was to be built here. The JéBeWex apparently moved into the structure a few months after the project was abandoned, and lived there until his/its recent relocation to Trolltec Tunnel.
