Denver & Rio Grande Ry. Hist. Foundation (DRGR) this Summer

Hello Everyone:

I know everyone's asking questions:

D&RGRR did begin daily (Except Tuesday) trips on "Silver Streak" from South Fork to Wagon Wheel Gap at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. The Morning trip can be extended to the wye at Wasson (2.6 short of creede). Restaurant lunch is available at WWG (2 restaurants). Those going to Wasson may order a box Lunch picked up on arrival at WWG. The afternoon trip allows 30 minutes for Ice Cream in WWG. All food is great and plentiful, for under $10.(Lunch).

There are plenty of Photo Ops, we can make them as you go !. The car seats only 13, so call ahead for Reservations 719.873.2003 9-11:30 & 1:30 to 3:30 Daily (Longer hours till 6 begin July 1st). Leave a message and a good phone # otherwise - we'll call back ASAP.

Also on the property, still wrapped in a white cocoon: Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company (CCIC) Private Car #21. Built in 1901, it is a masterpiece preserved indoors for many years. Some small amount of work is necessary before it can be displayed properly.

Fares to WWG: Adult &27., Seniors (65 & over) $24., Children (Under 12) $17. Fares to Wasson: Add $13. to all above. Credit Card gaurantees seating. Busiest times will be July thru August 10th and during Rocky Mt. Madness period.
