TV show Gold Rush - tangent to NG

Hi,

Being raised in Jawja, I knew about dredging the ship channels in Savannah.

With this bias, II was never able to understand gold mining dredging.

While in the hospital recently, There was a show named "Gold Rush" about two different gold mining operations. One is near Fairplay CO and the other was up in Alaska.

Dredging for gold has nothing to do with what I thought it was.

If you are confused as I was about gold dredging, I suggest watching Gold Rush on (IIRC) Discovery channel or maybe the history channel.
