The paint company in Denver was Komac, it was a mashing up of Kohler-MacLister. Komac paint stores were a staple of the Front Range for many years.

Bob Richardson had a Komac rep come to the museum one night to explain how they mixed the various colors of paint that they supplied. Very interesting and enlightening talk.

This company was later replaced (bought by?) by Diamond-Vogel Paints.
