* Per Jerry Day, noted photographer John Maxwell referred to 'draws' as "swishes" (probably because the train could swish through without the brakeman having to jump off and align any points.) This term, like "N-I-M-B-Y", would probably be considered "politically incorrect" these days (except, perhaps, by Das Gubernator).

Unfortunately, all of the links to attached photos and drawings on the older threads were broken when the NGDF was moved to a new server a while back.
