RE. 458 459 etc. We know that #400 was renumbered to 2250 when converted to SG. Ergo #401 became #2251. # 400 when NG has the same cylinder block as 459, not 458. Unfortunately, I have never seen a picture of #401 or 2251 in Mexico.

Either 459 = 400 = 2250 or before any of the photos were taken in Mexico, they combined the two locos by putting 458's boiler on to 459's frame and cylinders,and used #459's smoke box as well.
