Re: P.C.R.R.- what's left

None of the locomotives survive. Former NCO/PCRy 10/110 sat in the SLO roundhouse for sale until 1948 when it was scrapped. The SLO Railroad museum has a tender from one of the consols, not sure of the number maybe 105 or 108. Still has its big oil bunker.

The side door caboose #2 in at the CSRM up in the rafters. Another caboose sits on private property in SLO to this day. Caboose #2 was part of the Ward Kimball Collection which is now at Orange Empire. The caboose was built by the NCO in 1910 and the Kimballs sold it in 1979 to CSRM. Ward & Betty had made trips to SLO in the late 30's and early 40's to check out the line. Ward got some incredible items from the railroad including some oil burning box headlamps and other jewelry. Misc. box cars are littered around mostly former Florence & Cripple Creek. Box #704 was part of the Kimball collection and is now at OERM.

The most equipment left however is up on the White Pass & Yukon. I believe coaches/parlor cars #s 258,260,262 (PCRy#s 102,103,105)are there. Also baggage mail #207 (PCRy #201) is there but was converted to a caboose. All were built by J Hammond.
