Randy - it's great to see you here, and a mighty big THANK YOU for all the work Knott's has done in preserving a bit 'o history for all of us.
Earlier I suggested some cross-promotion between the operating Colorado lines and Knott's. I haven't been to Knott's yet (though I'd dearly love to - just can't afford a trip way out there from here in the Midwest), so I don't know what info you have now.
But - what I was thinking is that the equipment at Knott's could be used to generate more interest in the rest of the NG world - possibly by simply including a short history of Knott's equipment on a board near the station or something, and having flyers for Georgetown, D&S, C&TS, etc.
I'm convinced that for NG to survive, we all need to work together to raise interest in the equipment, and w/the huge amount of folks going thru Knott's that might be a way to help.
The Colorado lines could (and should) reciprocate by promoting the NG at Knott's as well.
So what do you think?
