Photo From Yesterday At SVRR

I had some SVRR Archive errands to do over at the Sumpter Valley yesterday, so took a few photos. The first four are of our new archive and library building. The contractor had installed the underground electrical conduit to the building during the previous week and placed steel pipe bollards along the side of the building. They will be set in concrete and filled with concrete in a few days. In the near future, the electrical contractor will pull in wire and get the electrical panel installed. We also expect to have the HVAC equipment purchased and roughed in within the next couple of months. We are still working on grant funding and seeking donations to finish the building's interior. I took a few photo up at Sumpter. The railroad is running diesel this weekend. In the first shot I caught operations manager Jim Grigsby on the platform. The second shot at Sumpter captured husband and wife team of John and Loretta Donnelly. Besides working on the train crews, John is our organizations vice president and Loretta is our grants coordinator.
