The Hinman episode?

That was a curious episode, and the level of ignorance and naiveté was amazing for a person with enough money and savy to get a coach all the way from lthe NdeM to Alamosa. I cannot remember ever seeing many details about Hinman and how all that happened. It was one of the more interesting footnotes of the abandonment process.
