Her face looks a lot like my older dog, Bosco, when he was a whipper-snapper. That's not at all surprising, since he's a Dutch bulldog, or Brabanter Büllenbeisser — a primary ancestor of all the Bulldog breeds, even Boxers. Here's worry-wart Bosco at about 4¼ years old, when first introduced to 3-month-old Otis:

It appears that Belle and Bosco probably have the same Great-Great-Great . . . . Great-Great-Great Grandfather somewhere in their family trees, whereas Otis a foster cousin at best.
OOOOOps!! Otis just now came in to remind me it's after 6:30 and time to eat. Like Belle, Otis long ago mastered the "I'm just a poor, hungry little puppy" look:
