Caboose #6 also exists at McEwen yard. It is in good condition, but the previous owner heavily modified the interior, the brake rigging is missing, and the 3/4 size couplers were missing parts. We are gradually getting it serviceable but our volunteer work force is stretched pretty thin. As the model shows caboose #6, along with #4, has straight sides on the cupola, while Caboose's 3 & 5 have sloped sides. Water running down the sloped sides tends to run in under the windows causing decay in the framework. This is why #5 is currently out of service. We have acquired full sized couplers for both caboose 5 and 6.
