I borrowed this photo and description from a Facebook page, as I have never seen this sunrise C&TS herald I was wondering how long it was used for and was there an entertaining back story to it.

Caption attached:- Getting ready for the double header snow trip by the Chama engine house. Bud and Ray were stringing two audio cables from the front of the helper back to the first train car. Connectors were required both to couple the locos to the train and to separate the helper from the road engine. Microphones would be mounted on the pilot of the front engine. The snow train I rode did not get very far. I remember stopping short of Lobato trestle. Bud made this recording for a company he owned that released vinyl records of Colorado railroad sounds.
