Back around 1990 Robert Hanft donated some photos to SVRR, then SVRR purchased copies of additional photo that he had available. This is a scan of one of the ones we purchased. This was taken May 31st 1954 at South Baker. The building behind tank car #100 is the structure built to house #250 and #251 back in 1940. The tank car was used to haul bunker C locomotive fuel to Austin and Bates. This car survives more or less at SVRR. Its trucks and frame are under a substitute tank acquired from the WP&Y, while the tank less dome is mounted on our fire service car.
